I'm surprised by how well the Magna performed for a car from the early 90s. With airbags and belt tensioners you would likely survive the crash without lifethreatening injuries.

It would be misleading to extrapolate from this Mitsubishi which is quite a paper car, lacking such R&D which was done e.g. by Audi still back in 1986 for the Typ89, B3 or the C4: test with a rather brutal 60km/h - ruclips.net/video/pOTsNC5MvP8/видео.html only with ProConTen and in the given exemplar without airbags more than OK, - no chassis distortion, no distortion of the A-pillar or the roof, the doors open freely etc...
